Primavera P6 and AI for Modern Project Planning - Advanced Scheduling
Master Primavera P6 for real construction projects. Build detailed schedules, manage resources and costs, create and maintain baselines, update progress, analyze delays, and produce professional stakeholder reports. This course is designed for civil/mechanical engineers, construction managers, planners, and project controllers.
Duration: 20 hours
Teaching Methodology: Hands-on labs with real construction case studies
Course Schedule: Schedule
Fees: $450
Course Mode: Blended - Face-to-face or online via Zoom
DESCRIPTION
This advanced Primavera P6 Professional course is designed for engineers, planners, and project controllers who want to apply real-world construction scheduling techniques. Participants will build a complete project schedule from scratch, including WBS development, activity logic, CPM analysis, resource and cost planning, and baseline management.
The course goes beyond standard scheduling by introducing productivity-based planning using Excel mapping files, where durations are calculated based on quantities, manpower, and production rates. Participants will also learn how to assign milestones, apply different types of constraints, and understand their impact on project timelines.
Advanced project control techniques are covered, including float path analysis, near-critical path identification, and delay risk evaluation. The course also focuses heavily on progress tracking and reporting, including Planned vs Actual analysis, KPI tracking, and S-curve development for both progress and cash flow monitoring.
In addition, the course introduces modern workflows using AI tools to analyze Primavera outputs, generate executive summaries, identify delays, and suggest recovery strategies - bridging traditional planning with next-generation technology.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to develop, manage, analyze, and present a complete project schedule using industry best practices.
