OVERVIEW
The Autodesk® Inventor® Essentials course provides an understanding of the parametric design philosophy through a hands-on, practice-intensive curriculum. Students will learn key skills needed to design models using Autodesk Inventor, starting with conceptual sketching, through to solid modeling, assembly design, and drawing production.
- Understanding the Autodesk® Inventor® interface
- Creating, constraining, and dimensioning 2D sketches
- Creating and editing solid 3D features from sketches
- Manipulating model displays and resolving feature failures
- Building assemblies and duplicating components
- Generating presentations (exploded views and animations)
- Using simulation tools for motion studies
- Producing technical drawings and customizing environments

PREREQUISITES
