Kids and Teenagers Courses Offered at ETC

Python for Teens

Python is an easy-to-understand yet powerful programming language that can help teens develop complex applications across various fields like data science, web development, artificial intelligence, game development, and automation.

Early exposure to Python offers significant benefits, including enhanced problem-solving skills, logical thinking, creativity, and a head start in academic and career opportunities. Learning Python at a young age not only prepares students for success in school and university but also gives them a competitive edge in the job market.

CAD for Teens

CAD (Computer-Aided Design) equips students with the tools to create 2D and 3D geometric designs, preparing them for future careers in fields like engineering, architecture, product design, and manufacturing. We recommend AutoCAD and Rhino as essential tools: AutoCAD is the industry-leading software for mastering 2D architectural and mechanical drawings, perfect for kids aspiring to pursue engineering or architecture; Rhino is a top choice for 3D design, widely used for creating intricate objects like jewelry and product prototypes. By the end of the course, students can even bring their designs to life using our 3D printer.

Photography

Photography gives kids and teenagers the freedom to capture the world as they see it, encouraging them to express their unique perspectives through images. It teaches them to pay closer attention to their surroundings, helping them notice details, colors, and patterns they might otherwise overlook. Capturing the perfect shot often requires patience, fostering focus and discipline. In our Photography course, students will also learn essential topics such as equipment, lenses, exposure, composition, and various camera controls.

Video Editing for Teenagers

Video is the language of today's generation. In this course, teenagers learn to shoot, edit, and produce professional-quality videos using Adobe Premiere Pro—the industry-standard tool used by YouTubers, filmmakers, and content creators worldwide. Students learn to cut and assemble footage, add transitions, color grade, mix audio, and export for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Beyond the technical skills, the course develops storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an eye for visual communication. Whether your teen dreams of building a YouTube channel, creating content for social media, or pursuing a future in film and media production, this course gives them a real, marketable skill they can use immediately.

AI for Teenagers

This hands-on course introduces teenagers aged 13–17 to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence through practical creative projects, productivity tools, AI image generation, video creation, and prompt engineering. Students learn how to use modern AI platforms responsibly and effectively for school, creativity, presentations, and future career skills.

The course covers ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, Leonardo AI, CapCut AI, Runway ML, and ElevenLabs—giving teenagers a comprehensive introduction to the AI tools shaping the world around them. No prior AI or programming experience is required; basic computer skills are enough to get started.

Creative Plastic Arts for Teens

This hands-on art course introduces teenagers aged 12–17 to the world of plastic arts through practical projects in drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, texture, composition, and mixed media. Students explore different materials and techniques while developing creativity, visual awareness, and confidence in artistic expression.

The course is ideal for teens who enjoy art, design, decoration, craft, fashion, architecture, or creative hobbies. No prior art experience is required. Students graduate with a small personal art portfolio and a final project presentation. The course runs between 30 and 42 hours and is available face-to-face in Dbayeh or live online via Zoom.
