Fashion Design

In this class, we focus on using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create digital fashion designs.

We use Adobe Illustrator to draw flat sketches, fill them with color and fabric prints, assemble presentation boards, and more. In addition, we create seamless pattern swatches and custom brushes for trim and stitching, and apply shading and other effects to fashion sketches.

We use Adobe Photoshop to scan and prepare fabrics to create a clean repeat, create textile design repeats from scratch, fill shapes and areas of a sketch with patterns, assemble presentation boards, and burn and dodge fashion sketches.
