DESCRIPTION

AutoCAD Civil 3D software is a civil engineering design and documentation solution that supports Building Information Modeling workflows. Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, infrastructure professionals can better understand project performance, maintain more consistent data and processes, and respond faster to change.

OVERVIEW

When they complete this course, students will be armed with the background and knowledge to apply AutoCAD Civil 3D. Students will learn how to create, edit and modify Civil 3D design objects, add annotation, obtain information, import/export and use Civil 3D data in other applications.

Civil engineers, designers, drafters, technicians, and surveyors.

PREREQUISITES

Experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD-based products (such as Autodesk Land Desktop) and a sound understanding and knowledge of civil engineering terminology.
