Adobe InDesign Essentials

Duration: 20 hours

Teaching Methodolody: Hands on

OVERVIEW

InDesign is page layout software. It is widely used to prepare publications and compositions that contain images and text. Participants who take this course will be able to use it to design short and long documents such as leaflets, brochures, posters, bill boards, reports, magazines, books, etc.

AUDIENCE

Graphic designers, desktop publishers, and anyone wishing to prepare short or long documents that contain text, artworks, and images.

PREREQUISITES

Basic computers skills are usually enough, but since this is layout software, a good knowledge with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator are highly recommended. Photoshop is a powerful tool for scanning, editing, and compositing images while Adobe Illustrator is a powerful tool for preparing art graphics such as logos, illustrations, and word arts. Usually final pre-press layouts are prepared with InDesign.
